Royal College of Art Data Visualisation/Copywriting

This was a data provocation project at the Royal College of Art. The brief was to design a project that encouraged people to question the validity of represented data. When data is made physical or beautiful, people tend to accept it as ‘truth’ – yet data is never neutral; it is collected, analysed, and presented for specific purposes.
I worked with two students from Information Experience Design to create an installation that focused on European media representations of the refugee crisis.
